At The Florist Tree we are committed to the protection of your personal information whilst making purchases at thefloristtree.com.au or through any of our other sales channels. In order for The Florist Tree to provide its' various tailored services, some personal information is asked of users of its various sales channels. This information may include your name, address, e-mail address, contact phone number, credit card type, credit card number, credit card expiration date and CVV.
When you make a purchase we also collect information that allows us to make-up and deliver your order. This includes the name, address and phone number of the intended recipient(s) as well as personalised card messages.
The Florist Tree will not sell or release your personal information to any third parties under any circumstances (unless required by law or in cases where unlawful activity, such as fraudulent credit card use, is suspected). If you elect to not sign the greeting card and the recipient requests this information we cannot and will not divulge your details without your permission or unless requested by the police.
The Florist Tree will share personal customer information only with contractors for the limited purpose of fulfilling customer orders.( ie couriers, relay providers)
When ordering online, remember to close your browser when you have completed your order.
We deliver to the suburbs listed on each design and unless we have mutually agreed to deliver outside these locations for an increased delivery fee, the order may be cancelled and a refund processed by the credit card provider which may take in excess of 5 days. Alternatively if you place an order outside our delivery areas, and with your approval, we will relay the order to a florist closer to the recipient's address but only if your order value exceeds $70. If the order is less than $70, the order may be cancelled and the money refunded to you by the credit card provider. To facilitate this relay of order, we will need to divulge the recipient's name, address, telephone number, card message, delivery date and details of the flower order.
During Covid, with shortage of supply of both flowers and sundry items, we may need to substitute similar sundries and flowers shape and colour in order to execute your order. If we are unable to replicate the order with replacement containers and flowers, we will liase with you with alternate solutions. If a compromise is not possible, we will either arrange a refund with the credit card provider or relay the order to a florist who can better better execute the order to specification.
